Issue Description:

In the below example, Xcode throws an error stating that Value type 'User' cannot have a stored property that recursively contains it

struct User {
    var friend: User?
}

However, given that friend is optional, there is no recursion issue with this code, i.e.

let x = User(friend: nil)

In the discussion on Twitter Paul came up with a custom optional type where the compiler recognizes the recursion cycle break: [https://twitter.com/twostraws/status/1269632123591327749?s=21| https://twitter.com/twostraws/status/1269632123591327749?s=21]. It seems that the problem here is that Optional is not declared as indirect.
