relates to:

  • SR-13976 Improve compiler error message: "partial application of ‘mutating’ method is not allowed"

Issue Description:

This was discovered when working on SR-13976 and discussed on this PR.

There are a few test cases where the partial application diagnostics is incorrectly recorded. As discussed on the PR, it would be sufficient to check if the `AllowInstanceMember` diagnostic has been recorded first:
