I've been advised to file a best-effort bug, but I don't understand how to do this properly. So here a link to the Swift forum with all the information I have.

For what it's worth, I can't reproduce this on 5.6, so maybe it was fixed?

Thank you for reporting this. The fix will be in the 5.5.3 release: https://forums.swift.org/t/development-open-for-swift-5-5-3-for-linux-and-windows/54553/5 via #40750 .
