Issue Description:

I have in the past sent emails to the swift mailing lists from two different email addresses. This means I now have two staged accounts, Lukas_Stabe and Lukas_Stabe1. I expect this will be the case for others as well.

It would be good to have some way to join these multiple accounts into the one I plan to use on the forums. If this already exists then please just close this 🙂

(I'm also assuming a way to rename the account once I take control of it is already there, if not that might be another thing to consider.)

I asked for Discourse to give us the ability to join multiple accounts, and they're working on it – we may not have it initially, but hopefully would have it soon.

Any updates on this? I'm able to change my user ID but not my email because it's used in a separate stage account. When I tried to log in with that account or recover its password, the forum claims it doesn't exist.
