duplicates:

  • SR-1660 Enum with String rawValue and escaped init identifier causes compile error

Issue Description:

$ cat /code/t.swift
// this works
enum Command {
    case `init`
}

// causes <unknown>:0: error: invalid redeclaration of 'init(rawValue:)
enum CommandWithAssociatedValue: String {
    case `init` = "init"
}

I tried this with shipping 4.0.3 and this dev version:

$ swift --version
Swift version 4.0-dev (LLVM 2dedb62a0b, Clang b9d76a314c, Swift 1180d62987)
Target: x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu
