duplicates:

  • SR-1131 Build script for MSVC on Windows

relates to:

  • SR-237 Merge build-script-impl into build-script
  • SR-6946 Create windows build presets

Issue Description:

Right now the build-script and build-script-impl don't work on Windows. Partially because bash </3 Windows, and partially because Python thread </3 Windows.

If and when someone re-writes build-script & -impl, let's make sure it's cross platform
