Issue Description:

Some Self typed expressions in class methods, in some contexts, produce "Segmentation fault: 11" at compile time. See the attached project - it contains examples that produce the error, as well as very similar examples that do not. The only commonality I see among the error-producing expressions is that they are all of type Self?? and are all in class methods of return type Self or Self?. However, some of non-error-producing expressions also have these properties.
