Issue Description:

While migrating 3rd-party library PromiseKit from version 4.x to version 6.x, I encountered a compiler crash, possibly caused by a type inference problem ❓

See attached files. In ViewController.swift, the error occurs here:

 _ = appContainer.resolve(UserStateManagerType.self).getUserInfo().then { userState in
            self.doSomething(with: userState.userId)
            }

This is the resolve function:

public func resolve(_ pwty5type: TypeContainer.Type) -> TypeContainer {
        return self
    }
