Issue Description:

The `SDKROOT` build setting is at the target level in generated projects, but needs to be at the project level so it can be overridden.

Let's reconcile the diffs — in my case I set `SUPPORTED_PLATFORMS` to `macosx`, but perhaps the right thing is to remove it.
